STRONG, LOVING, BOLD & CREATIVE are a few ways to best describe Dominique Williams, CEO of Sparky Brains Tutoring. 

Dominique is a single mother to one bright & amazing child. She enjoys dancing and planning family events in her free time. 

Dominique is the oldest of her mother’s four children. Growing up Dominique looked after and cared for her siblings alongside of her mother. Their family experienced a tragedy when her mother lost one of her twin daughters (Dawn Marie Williams) and the other twin (Diamond Jean Williams) was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Dominique was trained on how to care for her sister by watching the Nurses, Tutors & Teachers closely. Dominique learned how to be patient, empathetic and helpful. She also developed a love for caring for others. Diamond Jean Williams passed away at age 7, however, the lessons she instilled and the love she shared with her family will never be forgotten. 

Dominique later in her life had an idea to begin working with children to build their confidence as well as assisting them academically. She took an interest in working in the educational field in 2010. After one week of being a substitute teacher, it was then that she knew how passionate she was about making a difference in the lives of children.

Dominique began working at a Gary Community Privately Owned School as a paraprofessional and was quickly promoted to a full-time allied arts teacher which eventually landed her in her own classroom. Dominique attended Indiana University Northwest for Elementary Education and has completed The Para Pro Educator Program where she received her Certification. Dominique has worked with hundreds of children as young as pre-kindergarten ascending through 12th grade. 

Sparky Brains Tutoring was founded in 2019; however, Dominique’s passion for working with children sparked the idea in her mind. Sparky Brains Tutoring is a growing company that sheds light on the needs of children. We at Sparky Brains work hard to provide our students and staff with the best experience possible.

Dominique has always displayed her passion for children in her everyday life and that passion now shines through Sparky Brains Tutoring. The ultimate goals for our Sparky learners are to LEARN, GROW, ENHANCE & SUCCEED!!!! This tutoring program will teach children things they may not know, enhance what they currently know, stretch their minds to think beyond the norm, and CRUSH the “expected” that is placed on children today.

GOD’s word says in Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. Parents taking this step for their child(ren) is all GOD needs to do his part. As the parents’ trust in me to do my part, I will succeed because my trust has always been in him and together with him ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
